Britney's Back, Bitches!

It's been quite a while since Britney Spears has been in the media or has released any fresh music since her hit song, "3" - now she's back in the lime light and we're loving it!

After an online leak of a demo from her newest song, "Hold It Against Me" Britney fans world-wide have been going crazy and anticipating the release of her new song - especially after her recent response to the media via Twitter:

"Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday. -Brit"

Everyone including Ryan Seacrest (who has heard the full version that's ready) and Perez Hilton are saying great things about this song.

After being on tour and recording her new album, Britney's back to claim her pop-queen throne and we can't be more anxious and excited to see her do it!

I'm pretty sure radio stations nation-wide won't stop playing this new hit song once it's released this coming tuesday on January 11th.. Stay tuned - it's Britney, Bitch!

Lindsay Lohan Back In Court.. When Will It End??

It's been less than a week since pop-flop, Lindsay Lohan, checked out of rehab and she's already most likely on her way right back to court for violating probation! Poor Lilo, oh please say it ain't so!

It's official, after being under the influence of alcohol and allegedly attacking a staffer from the Betty Ford Center last month where she was spending time "recuperating", Lohan will most likley be re-united with all her friends (the D.A, jury, and judge) back in court in February - possibly earlier.

Today I learned her case has been transferred from the Palm Beach Dessert Police Department to Riverside County District Attorney.

Dawn Holland, the staffer & victim of Lohan's alleged drunken attack, is allegedly still suffering from injuries and collecting workers comp (lucky for her, I wish I were collecting workers comp right now) and still refuses to comment or cooperate with the authorities.

It really doesn't surprise me at all, this is how the girl has learned to make a living - Lohan has been arrested 3 times for drunk driving & violating probation in the past, and this might be the fourth time.

I say send Lilo away to federal prison, if Lil' Kim did one year in prison, then so can this habitual drunken offender!

Lindsay Lohan's Rehab Stay Extended - By Choice Of Guilt?

This just in: TMZ has recently reported that Lindsay Lohan will be staying in rehab possibly up until Saturday for extended treatment.

Legally, Lohan is currently allowed to bail from court ordered rehab - but according to TMZ, she has apparently been talking to people at the Betty Ford Center about a possibility of extending her residential stay for furthermore treatment until Saturday. Click here to read the article from TMZ.

Isn't it quite odd that Lohan has willingly decided to extend her stay for a few more days at the Betty Ford Center - especially after all the controversy last month about her allegedly assaulting a Betty Ford staffer while also being accused of being under the influence of alcohol? Britney Spears Sued By Former Nanny

Britney Spears will have more court drama to deal with in the near future, as she was served with a law suit by her former nanny and assistant, Zaltash.



Zaltash filed the law suit against Britney with claims of her providing services to the pop star for a month, and has not yet been compensated for the work.



Zaltash claims Britney has refused to pay her demand of $35,202 in return for her services she provided Britney back in 2007.



On top of the $35,202 that Britney allegedly owes Zaltash, she is also demanding another $19,940 for penalties of unpaid wages and overtime.

Greg Giraldo, Dies At 44

Comedian Greg Giraldo, known best for his roasts on Comedy Central and NBC's Last Comic Standing, has passed away today at 44 years of age. 

Giraldo was being hospitalized in Brunswick, N.J., due to a prescription drug overdose, where his death was officially confirmed. 

 Comedy Central has released this following statement: “The tragic news of Greg’s passing hits us very, very hard. Greg has been a close member of the Comedy Central family for years, injecting his energy and wicked sense of humor into countless projects. The comedy community lost a brother today. Our thoughts are with his family.”

The producers of NBC's Last Comic Standing have also released this statement: “Greg was one of the most talented comedians of our time. He was truly brilliant. His work will surely continue to influence and inspire us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”

Gloria Stuart Dies At 100 Years Of Age

Actress Gloria Stuart, known for her role in Titanic, as Rose Calvert, died at the age of 100 in LA, California


She was found dead yesterday in her Los Angeles home, her family told the press that she died in her sleep - Gloria was also a survivor of breast cancer, which she was diagnosed for about five years ago.


"She just paid no attention to illness. She was a very strong woman and had other fish to fry," said her daughter, Sylvia Thompson, (quoted in a recent BBC article).


Gloria Stuart was known best for her appearances in several of films during the 1930's, as well as her Oscar nominated role as Rose Calvert, in the 1997's Titanic movie (Gloria Stuart was the oldest actor to ever be nominated for an Oscar). Up until the release of last year's Avatar, Titanic was the world's highest-grossing movie of all time.
